Libraries with Online Summer Reading:

If your library’s link isn’t working your library has not made registration available yet. Summer Reading usually begins once school is out for the summer break. Please check with your library to see when registration begins.

Why Participate in Online Summer Reading?

Online summer library programs are a convenient way to interrupt the summer slide and engage the readers of all ages in summer fun!

Your local public library offers a well-established summer reading program that encourages kids, teens, and often adults to read over the summer. Educational, fun enrichment activities throughout the summer are an important feature of the programs—and they’re free.

Almost every library in Arizona participates in summer reading in some way. If your library is not listed, make sure to visit your local library to learn other ways to participate in summer reading.

Maricopa County Reads

If your library resides anywhere in Maricopa County, then you'll want to participate through Maricopa County Reads.

Summer Programs to Accommodate Visual or Physical Limitation

Readers who are unable to read standard print due to a visual or physical limitation can still participate in Summer Reading.  Please contact the Arizona Talking Book Library for more information about books available in audio and Braille formats.
